Now do you have that song running' thru your head? Good. That's what I'm hoping for with these blogs and their 3-word titles.
I'll bet you think today's post is a blatant advertisement for me selling you on my meal replacement program. NOPE!
I wanted to title this after the Dr. Phil-ism, "How's That Working For You?" but it wasn't 3 words.
So how is that working for you? And remember this blog is not all about losing the weight. You got your, "Renewing The Mind", and "Restoring The Soul", as well. When Dr. Phil would host a troubled marriage couple and they had prattled on and on and pointed fingers long enough, Dr. Phil's famous line was, "How's that working for you?"
Be honest with yourself. Ask yourself the hard questions. In your weight loss... in your relationships, in your job, in your health ...
How's that working for you? If it isn't working, it's time to shake it up.
I landed on a small plateau after my initial weight and inches lost. So I switched up a few menus* and routines** and started to lose again. That simple, see below.
I've also felt a little "stuck" in some of my attitudes and relationships, so I implemented some new habits*** and set up a couple of boundaries**** and I'm much happier. That simple see below.
You can not keep doing the same thing over and over and expect different results. It's time to shake it up.
C'mon and work it on out.
*Menu shake-up = one glass of wine, instead of two
**Routine shake-up = I started rotating my shakes to different meals, and I upped my walking.
***Habit shake-up = Smile and be nice
****Boundary shake-up = I don't talk politics out loud or on facebook. That wasn't working for me.
