Indiana Barn Markets

Saturday, this photographer is heading to the 2nd Annual Indiana Barn Foundation Convention, in association with the National Barn Alliance.  There'll be break-out sessions on barn preservation with nationally known barn contractors and architects. I'll get to see the screening of the documentary, "The Resurrection of a Barn". There will be a market atmosphere of artists, crafters, and unique-use barn entrepreneurs.  I couldn't be more excited.

I've always dreamed of preserving the family barn and my pinterest boards lean heavily towards reborn barns. I love the smell of barns, I love taking pictures of barns, I love dancing in a barn, I love red barns, white barns, and especially grey barns. Plain and simple, I love old barns.

Mix a barn with a barn sale, a barn wedding, or a barn dance, and I can't help myself. Here's a sampling of some photos that have  prompted a new fb group; Indiana Barn Markets.   Join us!

"Shut the door, where you born in a barn?"

"Have a cow!"

"I was so naive as a kid, I went out behind the barn and did nothing."

"... so God made a farmer"

"I wasn't born in a barn, but I got here as fast as I could."

"True Love was born in a stable."
